Calembour is a university project aiming to create a dynamic brand identity for an imaginary book design studio. Our goal is to make reading more engaging by crafting visually striking products that enhance the content. We want to showcase diverse graphic design techniques, infusing warmth into our projects through manual and experimental work.
Located in the heart of Paris, our studio reflects the city's artistic spirit and provides a versatile space for creativity. The name CALEMBOUR, derived from a wordplay technique, reflects our aim to engage readers through playful communication.
Our logo utilizes anamorphosis, a technique that distorts images to create dynamic visuals. This mirrors our mission to transform text into immersive experiences, enhancing the reading journey. In summary, CALEMBOUR embodies innovation in book design, redefining the connection between text and design through dynamic branding.
